The last couple of months we’ve seen a marked increase in malware on websites and email hacking. While we have a plan for visiting each and every website once a month for routine maintenance, we have had to increase our monitoring to sometimes several times a month to ensure everything is well and truly buttoned up.  We’ve also seen an increase in email spoofing that has caused several clients some serious aggravation.

Some quick tips?  Make sure all the apps and widgets on your site are updated regularly.  Make sure your domain is private.  It only costs about $8/year and goes a long way to hiding your information from hackers.  Also, change your e-mail password if you haven’t done so in a while.
